The dynamics of the beauty industry has shifted drastically. It’s as if hairstylists feel entitled to clients money without the reciprocation of quality service. As a service provider a hairstylist should feel compelled to serve. Without our clients our business would be nonexistent. It’s my belief that every stylist should have a consistent and flourishing clientele if they provide quality service. Now let’s define what quality service is. Quality service is always a service with a client-centered focus. Every aspect of business should consider the needs of the client and not just the needs of the business.

As a business owner you have to do great business FIRST or at least it’s your duty to. The beauty industry has suffered greatly due to the lack of quality service and customer service. As The Beautyologist, it is my desire to right the wrongs of those in our industry. In this book, I will share common customer service complaints such as: inconsistent scheduling, unethical financial practices and, unprofessional salon atmospheres while , etc.)providing solutions to avoid receiving these complaints in your business.

I’m not a professional just because of my skillset but the level of service I provide. Don’t get me wrong, as stylists we may not always get it right but we can always make it right.
